50th Birthday Party

50th Birthday Party at the Newseum Washington, DC

Highlights. To pull off a surprise 50th birthday party for her husband was no easy feat. Our client came up with a semi fictitious event for the two of them to attend. The birthday boy had no clue and his reaction upon seeing his family and high school and college friends from afar was priceless!

As a guy who loves fishing and beer, we incorporated these interests into various components of this milestone party. LBC Design helped up design a logo for the party and my favorite item were the custom growler labels we used in the centerpieces. We designed a menu that was reflective of his life: a “Taste of Cape Cod” station reminiscent of their summer vacations, a “Pan Asian” station because he loves Asian food, and a “Beer and Brats” cart. Each station had a beer pairing. During cocktail hour, guests nibbled on charcuterie boards.
